Virtual Concept 2006 Virtual Concept 2006 Cancun - Playa del Carmen

Special Session

Co-design of Product, Processes and Network of firms

PLEDM 2006

SCOPE:

Design of innovative products corresponds to a crucial strategic issue for SMEs. However, technical innovation alone cannot guarantee the profitability of those innovative products. Firm’s internal processes should be analysed and designed in accordance with innovative product design. Approaches, such as Concurrent Engineering, study links between product and internal process design.

Design, production, distribution and sell of innovative products necessitate the collaboration of various partners and few works have done considering simultaneously both product and network of partners design or more generally design of Innovative product, Internal process and Network of partners as a whole.

The objective of this joint submission is to gather academic researches as well as industrial experiences in two major areas: Product-Network of Partners and Product-Processes–Network of Partners.

All submissions are implemented on the Online Submission System (see the utility menu) by choosing the PLEDM technical Conference of Virtual Concept 2006, then the special keyword of this special session
